1. When these terms apply
These Proposal Terms & Conditions, version 2026-10-03, are issued by PEMBINAAN SEGALA TEGUH SDN. BHD. (201201028898 / 1013385-A), trading as PST Solar. They apply only when expressly included in an identified written proposal or quotation and accepted by the customer. Browsing this page or sending an enquiry does not accept a project contract.
The accepted proposal must identify the customer, site, proposal number and date, scope, price, payment schedule and this terms version. Mandatory law takes priority. Subject to that, a later mutually accepted written variation takes priority over the signed project agreement, then the accepted proposal and its schedules, then these general terms. An expressly agreed order of precedence in the signed project agreement prevails. Later website updates do not change existing contracts.
2. Cash-payment pricing
Proposal prices are quoted on cash-payment terms unless the proposal expressly states otherwise. In this context, cash-payment terms mean payment directly to PST Solar, including bank transfer, according to the agreed milestones; they do not automatically require the full price upfront. Credit, financing and instalment facilities are not included in the quoted price.
The proposal must state the currency, quotation validity, applicable taxes and whether those taxes are included, together with the included equipment and work. Additional work or revised pricing requires a written variation agreed before it is carried out. An expired quotation requires written reconfirmation before acceptance.
3. Credit cards and EPP
Credit-card payments and Easy Payment Plans (EPP) are available only where PST Solar confirms a supported arrangement in writing. Eligibility, participating banks, available credit limit, instalment period and approval depend on the relevant bank or payment provider. No particular bank, approval, interest-free period or instalment plan is promised by this page.
Bank-imposed interest, finance charges, conversion fees or other customer charges, if applicable, depend on the selected bank and plan and are governed by its terms. Before proceeding, obtain a written breakdown of the amount payable to PST Solar, any separate bank charges, instalment amount, term and total repayment. PST Solar will not impose a prohibited card surcharge or pass on merchant processing costs contrary to applicable law, card-network rules or its merchant agreement. A change of label does not make a prohibited charge permissible.
4. Payment schedule and invoices
Deposit, progress payments and the final balance follow the amounts and due dates stated in the accepted proposal. No default deposit percentage or late-payment interest rate is imposed by this page. Pay only through the company payment instructions on a verified invoice. Confirm any change of payment details using our established contact number before transferring funds.
Tell us promptly if an invoice is disputed so we can review it. Any suspension for an overdue, undisputed amount requires prior written notice and a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue, subject to the contract and applicable law. Any resulting schedule change must be communicated. Statutory rights and remedies remain available.
5. Scope, equipment and changes
Only equipment, installation work, applications and services expressly listed in the accepted proposal are included. Confirm any roof repairs, structural strengthening, switchboard upgrades, civil works, internet connection, EV charging, backup circuits and maintenance before acceptance. They are not assumed to be included merely because they appear in website images or demonstrations.
Site findings, equipment substitutions or customer requests that affect scope, price, warranty or timing must be explained and agreed in writing before the affected work proceeds. A proposed substitute is not automatically accepted. If agreement cannot be reached, the parties will discuss available alternatives and the applicable cancellation terms.
6. Site access and approvals
The customer must provide accurate site and electricity information, necessary owner or management permissions, and safe agreed access. PST Solar remains responsible for carrying out its agreed work with reasonable care and skill. Unsafe conditions or material site differences must be discussed before affected work proceeds.
Authority, utility, meter, export and financing approvals are subject to the relevant organisation. The proposal must identify the applications and fees included and who is responsible for them. We do not guarantee third-party approval or a particular approval date. If approval is refused or conditions materially change the project, any revised scope or cancellation settlement must be addressed in writing, subject to legal rights.
7. Installation and handover
Installation and commissioning dates are those agreed in writing. Weather, safety restrictions, site readiness, equipment supply and third-party work can affect the programme. We will communicate material delays and discuss a revised schedule; this is not a blanket waiver of responsibility for delay.
Handover should record the installed equipment, agreed testing and commissioning results, operating guidance, warranty documents and any outstanding items. Report defects promptly. Handover or payment does not waive rights concerning defects or statutory guarantees.
8. Performance and warranties
Generation, savings, payback and battery-runtime figures are estimates unless an express written performance commitment states otherwise. Actual results depend on site conditions, weather, shading, consumption, tariffs, equipment and system settings. Grid-connected solar does not automatically provide backup during an outage; backup requires the agreed compatible design and equipment.
Manufacturer product and performance warranties, installation workmanship cover, claim procedures, exclusions and any maintenance requirements must be identified in the proposal or handover documents. They are separate types of cover. No additional warranty duration is created by this page, and manufacturer terms do not replace PST Solar’s own obligations or non-excludable consumer rights.
9. Cancellation and refunds
Request cancellation or a material change in writing, quoting the proposal number. Any settlement must follow the accepted contract and applicable law. There is no automatic “all deposits are non-refundable” rule under these terms. Any permitted deduction must be explained and supported by reasonable, evidenced costs or work already authorised and supplied; it must not be an arbitrary penalty or duplicate recovery.
Where a refund is due, PST Solar will provide a written calculation and confirm the refund method and expected processing time. Card or EPP refunds also follow the provider’s processing arrangements. Cancelling a project does not automatically cancel a separate bank instalment contract; check the bank’s settlement requirements. This does not remove any refund or cancellation remedy required by law.
10. Personal data and project photographs
We handle customer information in accordance with our Privacy & personal data notice for enquiries, proposals, agreed services and necessary applications. Contract acceptance does not give unrestricted permission to publish a customer’s name, property address, photographs or testimonial. Separate permission is required for identifiable promotional use unless another lawful basis applies.
11. Concerns, liability and Malaysian law
Contact info@pstsolar.com or 016 394 2333 with the proposal number and the issue. We will review the concern and discuss a practical resolution. These terms do not exclude liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any duty, guarantee, liability or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. No blanket exclusion for defective work or property damage is created here.
Malaysian law governs these terms. The parties may seek resolution through the competent Malaysian courts or any statutory tribunal or other remedy available by law. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent legally possible. English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese versions are provided for understanding; any agreed contract language remains subject to mandatory law.
Keep a copy of this dated version with your accepted proposal. Existing proposals are not amended by publication of these terms.
