1. Who is responsible for your data
PST Solar is operated by PEMBINAAN SEGALA TEGUH SDN. BHD., registration 201201028898 (1013385-A), the data controller for enquiries made through this website. Our address is No. 117-B, Jalan Batu Tiga Lama, Berkeley Town Centre, Klang, Selangor, Malaysia. This notice explains our website enquiry processing under Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010, as amended.
2. Information we collect and its sources
You provide information directly through our quotation, partnership and contact forms, or when contacting us by email, telephone or WhatsApp. Depending on the enquiry, this includes your name, phone number, email, preferred language, property address and area, property type, electricity supply, average bill, company, proposed partnership, land details, timetable and message. We also keep your consent record, enquiry reference and follow-up notes.
We may collect technical information such as IP addresses, browser information and access logs for website security and service reliability. Please provide only information relevant to your enquiry, not identity documents, bank details, health information or children’s information. If you supply another person’s details, you must have authority to do so and give them this notice.
3. Why we use your information
We use your information to respond to your request, evaluate site or partnership suitability, prepare quotations, arrange discussions and assessments, and maintain enquiry records. Where you proceed with a project, relevant information may be used to administer the agreed services and necessary applications. We also process information to protect the website, resolve complaints and comply with legal obligations.
Form consent covers handling and responding to your enquiry, not unrelated promotional campaigns. Browsing alone is not marketing consent. You can ask us to stop promotional contact at any time. Required fields are necessary for the relevant online request; without them the form cannot be submitted or we may be unable to assess or respond. Optional details are your choice. You may contact us by email instead.
For an accepted project, we may also process proposal acceptance, invoice and payment-reference records to administer the contract and meet record-keeping duties. Card or instalment applications, where offered, are handled through the relevant bank or payment provider under its own terms and privacy notice. Our website enquiry forms do not ask for card numbers, card security codes or online-banking passwords.
4. Who receives information
Personal data may be disclosed to authorised personnel and appointed service providers for information technology, secure data storage, communications and administrative support, only as necessary for the purposes described in this notice. These recipients are expected to handle the information confidentially and in accordance with applicable data-protection obligations.
Where necessary for your requested project or a legal obligation, relevant details may be shared with appointed installers, professional advisers, utilities, approving authorities or regulators. We do not sell enquiry information. External services such as WhatsApp operate under their own privacy terms when you choose to use them.
5. Overseas processing
Your personal data may be stored or processed outside Malaysia by appointed technology and communications service providers to support our services and respond to your enquiries. Any such transfer is subject to applicable Malaysian data-protection requirements and appropriate safeguards. Overseas processing does not remove your rights under applicable law.
6. Retention, security and browser storage
Records are retained according to the purpose of the enquiry, ongoing project or warranty needs, applicable record-keeping duties and any dispute or legal hold. Information no longer needed for these purposes is to be deleted or anonymised securely. You can ask us to review whether your enquiry still needs to be kept; deletion is not automatic where lawful retention remains necessary.
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal data against unauthorised access, misuse, loss or disclosure. No online service can guarantee absolute security. The website remembers your language preference through browser storage, which you may clear in your browser settings. External services may use their own cookies and privacy practices. Please report privacy or security concerns using the contact details below.
7. Your choices and rights
You may request access to or correction of your personal data, withdraw consent in writing, object to direct marketing, and exercise other applicable rights, including data portability where legally available and technically feasible. Requests are subject to lawful conditions and exceptions. We may need proportionate identity checks and will explain any lawful refusal or applicable fee. Withdrawal may prevent further assessment or service where the information is necessary, but does not invalidate earlier lawful processing.
Send privacy requests to info@pstsolar.com with the subject “Privacy request”, or write to our company address above. Include enough information to identify your enquiry, but do not send an identity-document copy unless requested through an appropriate channel. You may raise unresolved concerns with Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Commissioner.
8. Notice updates and languages
This notice is available in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with a Chinese translation for convenience. Use the language selector at the top of the page. We will update this notice when processing changes and seek fresh consent where required; an update alone does not authorise unrelated new uses of your information.
